Imagine knowing a person but, when you see their face, you don’t recognise them. This is called Prosopagnosia, and it might surprise you to know that one in 50 people have some degree of it.
Photographer Toby Burrows became obsessed with photographing faces once he learned of the condition, and the result is a documentary called I Never Forget a Face. It’s screening on the ABC Compass program at 6.30pm this Sunday but is available now on ABC iview.
