Climate change action, intersectionality, de-gendering COVID: It’s all part of Gen Z’s new feminism – Life Matters

In 2021, 86 per cent of young Australian women consider themselves feminists. That’s ten per cent more than in 2019, according to Australia Talks. And young men are on board too.

But, this generation is reshaping feminism to represent their priorities.

This means seeing COVID through a gender lens, feminist climate change action, intersectionality and queerness are front and centre.
