Too Hard Basket: My new work colleague eats constantly and loudly and is difficult to train – Life Matters

A new employee in my workplace, who sits next to me, eats loudly, picks his teeth and snorts and slurps all day. He is snacking on the hour every hour.

Part of my role is to train him in the job, that I am having difficulty with as he doesn’t take instruction very well. There are only three of us in the office and my manager is remote.

It’s upsetting my productivity and driving me mad, what do I do?

Guests:

Every Friday we challenge our guests with a dilemma from your ‘too hard basket’ – to discuss, unravel, and maybe even help solve for you. Send your dilemma via email on the Life Matters web page or Facebook, ABC RN Lifematters or send us a voice memo. Keep it to 150 words and you can always use another name.
