Job vacancies have had a big jump this year and, in some regional communities, job advertisements have doubled since March 2020.
Australia’s closed borders may be exacerbating the situation because it is increasingly difficult to bring skilled migrants into the country to fill job vacancies outside the major capital cities.
But communities are trying some innovative solutions.
