If your kids have home-schooled over the last 12-months, you’ll appreciate the trials and tribulations of turning the kitchen table into a classroom.

But if you are one of the hundreds of outback children who has attended the School of the Air since the 1960s, remote learning won’t be news to you.

With the School of the Air turning 70 this year, outback home-schooling has come a long way since bandwidth and broadcast.
