Now participation certificates and ‘good job mate’s are all the rage, but have we gone too far? Can you ‘over-praise’ your child? And, if you do get on board the ‘praise craze’, is there a right and wrong way to do it?

New research on the impact of positive reinforcement on a child’s happiness and success offers some clues.
