Beau Miles never stops being a backyard adventurer – Life Matters

Beau Miles has solo kayaked around a large bit of the African coastline, and run 680 kilometres across the Australian Alps.

These days, you can find him camping up a tree outside the front door of his farm in Gippsland, or running a marathon whilst doing jobs in the shed, or jumping fences and being stopped by the local cops whilst searching for an old railway line.

Beau Miles is a PhD graduate, a film maker, a writer, an outdoor educator, a timber recycler and a new dad.

His new book is called ‘The Backyard Adventurer’.
